“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

There has been a great deal of prayer lifted to the Throne of Grace over the last months of America’s history!

The election of Donald Trump is nothing less than a miracle. Now, this does not mean that He is a perfect Christian. None of us can claim perfection as Christians. All we can do is to praise God for saving us through faith in Jesus Christ. He alone is the Perfect Savior. Yet, being our Perfect God, Jesus knows just what to do and when to do it.

Jesus has heard the prayers of believers who are Pro-Life and Pro-Israel. He has heard the cries of the hurting in the land asking God to be merciful to America. He has been merciful. Now we need to keep praying to the Lord of revival to bring true revival to America.

While we watch for the coming of Christ, which certainly seems prophetically to be drawing near, we need to pray without ceasing for true biblical, Spirit-led revival and healing to our land.

Pray for Israel and the hostages in Israel, as well as those affected by the hurricane in North Carolina and elsewhere. Pray for the victims of the great and ongoing fires in and around Los Angeles, California. Pray for America’s churches that the Word of God and Gospel of Christ will be faithfully preached and believed. The Lord is certainly trying to get America’s attention. Many of the American Left have kicked God out, but the Gospel can reach them too through the mighty prayers of faith.
