Ferguson Violence, Synagogue Slaughter, and Demons of the LatterDays

Prophetic events predicted in the Bible are picking up in speed and ferocity! Demons are flooding planet earth, perhaps in preparation for the Great Tribulation. Satan will be ecstatic when the believing church is raptured off the earth and when the Holy Spirit will allow the arising of the predicted Antichrist. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12)

We have seen a replay of riots in Ferguson Missouri last night, and perhaps more godless violence, robbery and general mayhem will follow tonight! It is too bad that President Obama could not take a stronger and more consistent stand for lawfulness and submission to authority. With his unconstitutional executive action, ignoring the law of deportation of illegal immigrants recently, he has sent the signal that it is ok to be lawless if you think things aren’t going your way.

Unfortunately, many in Ferguson, and other places in the country are following his lead.  And I have a creepy feeling that his lead extends all the way to Israel.  There we heard of the godless slaughter of innocent Jews who were murdered while worshipping in their synagogue in Israel’s Old City on November 18.  They were killed while they were praying toward the place where the ancient temple stood.  They were killed by two Moslem men who were filled with hate against the Hebrew people with whom God has made an eternal covenant.  (Genesis 12:1-3)

Of course, President Obama and the godless liberal left in America did not cause these things, but I have no doubt they influenced them.  Proverbs 29:2 says: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

God is not included in the affairs of our present political leadership in America.  When a nation is established upon Biblical precepts and supports the belief and practice of Christianity and Judaism, God will hold that nation accountable when they turn away from God.  Thus, lawlessness reigns in many of the streets of America, and as a nation we have become afraid to support Israel.  From this comes riots in the streets.  Largely, this is influenced by Democratic politicians who stir up division.  Yet we must also realize that a portion of the problems are influenced by Republican politicians who largely remain silent.  And the preachers, where are they?  Why aren’t the Bible believing preachers speaking out from their pulpits?

Little wonder that demonic activity is rising rapidly in America.  We wonder how can people act this way?  The Bible says:  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)  So, we are actually seeing people, in Ferguson,  in Israel, and the Middle East, controlled by demons.  These evil spirits are directing many to hate and commit violence against others.  Often drinking and drugs are involved, but behind it all is godless and demonic hatred of others.

Now, this is not true of those who have an honest and Christ like approach to protesting and making their hurts and disappointments known publicly and peacefully.

But Jesus clearly told us:  “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. (Luke 6:35)

James clearly said where hatred comes from: the Devil himself:  “This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.” (James 3:15)

Too bad there are so few pastors with the courage to preach to their people that we are living in the last days, and so to help them to put into perspective why we are seeing such horrible atrocities in America, Israel and around the world at the hands of demonized and wicked people.  The problem in America today is not racial, political or financial; the problem is spiritual!  But this would require preachers to actually mention world events and the rise of rank and demonic sin in their sermons, which they are loath to do as that might make the attendance go down.

We are certainly living in dark and demonic times today!  Yet, for the Christian, there is good news on the horizon.  Jesus Christ is coming again!  And He predicted that He would return to rapture His Church during times just like we are living in today.  We are living in days like the days of Noah. (Matthew 24:38)  Jesus will return, perhaps even today for His Church.  This should be a wonderful encouragement for you to have hope and an incentive to witness for Christ in these last days.  The biblical truth of the rapture is our encouragement to engage the world with the claims of Jesus Christ and to encourage the lost to make a decision to trust in Him alone for forgiveness and everlasting life.

How true. If more people read and understood the bible our nation and the world, for that matter, would be in much better shape. Matthew 23:23b “But you have neglected the important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness.”
